Is this thing on?

Okay, I am officially the worst blogger of all time. Roughly 132 days have gone by since I last updated this place and that is pathetic. So, if anyone is still actually checking here…I apologize and pledge to do much better in the future.

That being said, here is a quick rundown on what has been going on in the last several months.

Katie’s parents came for another visit around Easter. They stayed for about five days and did very little in the way of ‘tourist things.’ They were here to visit with their grandbaby and had little interest in anything else. May and June were fairly uneventful around the house, however, in June work got really hectic for me. I was working 12 hours on and 12 hours off for a couple of weeks. That made is realy hard to spend time with Katie and Liam. At the end of the month we loaded up in a plane and headed to Texas for a whole month of vacation/visiting family and friends. When that was all said and done I felt like I needed another vacation just to recover from my vacation.

Liam just keeps getting bigger and bigger all the time. It seems that he is learning something new everyday. Katie and I just try to keep up with him. He was perfect on the long plane rides to and from Texas. While we were there, he learned to crawl and cut his first couple of teeth. Every new step for him is so bittersweet for us. We are so happy to see him grow and learn, but everyday he is less and less our little baby. Of course I knew he would grow up, I just did not think it would be happening so fast.

That is the extremely condensed version of what has been going on. I will be back much more frequently to update from here on out. See you all soon.
